Stableford app for iPhone and iPad

Stableford is a golf scoring system using stroke-play format in which the high total at the end of 18 holes WINS, not the low total. In Stableford, after each hole, points are awarded based on strokes relative to par - lower than par results in positive points awarded, higher than par results in negative points awarded. This App will award points per hole the same way the PGA Tour does (which is actually called the Modified Stableford scoring system). Scoring in Modified Stableford is as follows:

Albatross: +8 points
Eagle: +5 points
Birdie: +1 points
Par: +0 points
Bogey: -1 point
Double Bogey or worse(Dbl+): -3 points

Strategy in Stableford - Risk and Reward!!!

Stableford rewards aggressive play and risk-taking on the course. Chasing Eagles and Birdies will result in positive points. But miss that green with your approach could result in negative points. Keep in mind that the most a player can lose on a hole is 3 points. However, do not get too aggressive - 18 holes x -3 could put a big dent in your wallet - and thats not counting what the winner scores.

At the end of your 18 holes, this App provides a summary of who owes who using $1 per point. There is an option to email the results when viewing the summary.
